These blue lanterns are darling., not too small. I have one hanging on each end of our fence to illuminate dark places in the yard. They are sufficiently bright and burn for 8 hours - and I live in the Seattle area where it is not always sunny - and they still light up for 8 hours. Very pleased with them...
